One of our very first 'shakedown' trips to Percy's Place at Pitt Town NSW saw us make friends with long time nomads Glenn & Trish.

Within a day or so of saying 'g'day Trish brought us some snacks to have with our 'sundowners'.

Yumm yummm was our reaction so we just had to ask her for the recipe - and here it is!


Trish's Nutri-Grain Nuts 'N Bolts!

Adapted from Kellog's Nutri-Grain Nuts & Bolts

(c)Kellog's Nutri-Grain Nuts & BoltsIngredients:

300 gms of nutrigrain
 

500 gms unsalted peanuts (optional)
1 pit French onion soup

1 put cream of chicken soup

1 teaspoon of chilli powder (or to taste)

1 teaspoon of curry powder

1 teaspoon mustard powder

1/2 cup oil

Method:
Mix dry spices together

Mix in oil till all covered

Spread on tray

Heat oven 180c. Cook 5 mins. Turn oven off and leave in oven to dry

Store in airtight container

Trish told us she made this with no peanuts and simply added extra nutrigrain. Whatever takes your fancy.
